This gadget review linuxergeeks discusses a premium laptop from Dell, the Dell XPS 13 9380 series. This laptop was first introduced at the Consumer Electronics Show or CES 2019 in Las Vegas in January 2019.
For two weeks using the Dell XPS 9380 ultrabook with 16 gigabyte (GB) RAM capacity LPDDR3-2133 and 512GB SSD, Tempo tried various features installed in the laptop.

1. Unboxing
While in the center of the top and bottom boxes there is a typical Dell logo. While on the right side of the box there is little information on laptop specifications such as the laptop series, CPU and memory capacity. On the left side of the box is information about the Dell Premium Support service, complete with the contact number.
Inside, the laptop is packed quite safely, which is protected by a type of foam on the bottom, right and left. The laptop is also wrapped in an additional white box, in the Dell package provides several all-white support devices, such as USB type C adapter and charger and connecting cable between USB type C and USB type A.
2. Design
The design of this laptop is quite elegant, the body of the laptop is made with a process dubbed Frost Machined Aluminum, which makes it whiter than ordinary aluminum. However, what's interesting is that Dell claims the white color on the laptop won't fade or change.

2. Keyboard, port and slot

3. Screen and camera
Dell installed a 13.3-inch screen Infinity, according to its name Dell XPS 13 9380, and has a touch screen. The screen has 4K resolution or 3840 × 2160 pixels, which is supported by 100 percent sRGB color gamut, HDR, Dolby Vision, 400 nits brightness, contrast ratio 1500: 1, and a viewing angle of 178 degrees.
The thin bezel at the top and sides makes the laptop look luxurious. The screen is also coated with Corning Gorilla Glass 4, like a smartphone. 4. Hardware and performance
Dell XPS 13 9380 is available in several configurations, the unit that Tempo reviews uses the 8th generation Intel Core i7-8565U processor. The processor with the code name Whiskey Lake is juxtaposed with the Intel UHD 620 graphics card, and 16 gigabytes (GB) RAM capacity LPDDR3-2133 .
RAM that is large enough seems to be the reason Dell did not install the slot, so the RAM on the Dell XPS 13 9380 cannot be upgraded. In addition, Dell also provides 512GB SSD capacity M.2 PCIe NVMe Solid State Drive.

Dell XPS 13 9380 is suitable for working all day, what's more you can open a browser with many tabs (can be more than 30 tabs). 5. Default application
